Galàpagos by Kurt Vonnegut Jr. (Book Review)

Galápagos by Kurt Vonnegut Jr. is the story of a small group of people with nothing in common who somehow get together for “The Nature Cruise of the Century,” only to find themselves stranded and the last hope for the human race.

As the story unwinds, we find a world in crisis. A financial meltdown has rendered most countries and people of the world destitute. As if that isn’t bad enough, a disease spreads through mankind, leaving everyone in the world infertile, save for our gaggle of human castaways, that is.

Personally, Galápagos is one of my KV favorites.
